September 5th, 2008 by admin | No Comments | Filed in BSEDrug maker Dr Reddy’s Laboratories on Thursday said it has entered into a licencing and distribution agreement with a US-based dermatology and aesthetic medicine company Cosmederm Technologies for distribution of proprietary skin care products in India. “We are very excited to offer this unique products in the Indian market and expect to become leaders in the area of chemical peels and anti-ageing,” Dr Reddy’s Branded Formulation Group president, Mr Jaspal Singh Rana said.
The partnership is for two products, Refinity and Casmederm peel kits, containing 70 per cent and 50 per cent Glycolic acid, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
Cosmederm’s proprietary technology allows for the formulation of highly potent, non-irritating skin products in the area of anti-ageing and acne among others.
