Obviously it will be great news for Bangladesh if Airtel will purchase 70% share from Warid. Bcoz till now most of the people are dependable on GP bcoz of strong network coverage, not for call rate. At the beginning to till now Warid has very good reputation into the market for call rate & other VAS. But they can’t expand their business for poor network coverage. If Airtel will purchase Warids 70% share and want to invest 300 million dollars in Bangladesh then definitely network will improve, & they can dominate market easily. On the other hand Airtel should conscious about the call rate also, bcoz now most of the people are very much price sensitive about the call rate…..so hope for the best.
