Crude trades below $ 70/bbl after Chinese stocks fall

Crude prices fell nearly 4% to trade below $ 70 a barrel as a drop in China’s key stock index dented optimism about the pace of economic recovery, and the US dollar strengthened.

Crude declines 3.6% to $ 69.96/bbl. OPEC will be meeting on September 9 to access output and prices.
