JSW Energy to invest Rs 15,000 Cr in new power plant

Sajjan Jindal of JSW Steel said that there is no plan to hike product prices, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting NW18. The demand for steel is robust. The steel industry is not facing threat from the Chinese imports.

He further said that the input costs have come down sharply in the last 6 months. JSW Energy will invest Rs 15,000 crore in new power plant at Ratnagiri. New critical thermal power plant will have 3200 mw capacity. JSW Energy has current capacity of 800 mw, which will become 2000 mw by year end, he added.
