Asian mkts trading higher; Hang Seng gained 1.75%, Taiwan Weighted surged 1.25%
Asian markets were trading higher on Thursday morning session. China’s Shanghai Composite rose 0.67% or 19.58 points at 2,941.89. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 1.75% or 312.99 points at 18,205.14. Japan’s Nikkei added 1.585 or 151.55 points at 9,741.87. Singapore’s Straits Times advanced 0.49% or 11.06 points at 2,290.02. South Korea’s Seoul Composite was up 1.53% or 20.8 points at 1,384.59. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted surged 1.25% or 79.66 points at 6,459.74.
